This Privacy Policy applies to our website, including any subdomains thereof (collectively, "Site"), applications, mobile applications (collectively, "Application") and related services. The Site, Application and related services together are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Maker Services”. By accessing or using the Maker Services, you consent to the policies and practices of this Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by law.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your personal information, in conjunction with your access to and use of the Maker Services. This Policy also tells you about your rights with respect to your Personal Information, and how you can contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

For the purpose of this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

Privacy Policy Amendments

We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Maker Services and update the “Last Updated” date. If any changes to this Privacy Policy materially change your rights, we will provide notice on the Site.

Any changes in this Privacy Policy will become effective when we make the revised Privacy Policy available on or through the Maker Services. Your continued access to or use of the Maker Services after our posting of such changes, with or without notification, constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

When you access or use the Maker Services, we will collect your personal information for purposes which may include, without limitation: to perform the contract between you and Maker, to provide you with all the requested services, to fulfill legal obligations, your consent, and Maker’s legitimate interests.

• Server Log Information. We collect and store information in our server logs which may include, but is not limited to, device-specific information, and location information. Applicable legal grounds: legitimate interests (to allow us to provide the Maker Services), consent, contract performance;

When We Use Personal Information About You

We only process your Personal Information based on a valid legal ground, including when:

• Consent. You have consented to the use of your Personal Information, for example to track your online activities via cookies and similar technologies.
• Contract. We need your Personal Information to provide you with our Services, for example for account registration.
• Legal obligation. We have a legal obligation to collect and process your personal information (such as our obligation to share data with tax authorities).
• Legitimate interest. We have a legitimate interest in using your Personal Information, for example to improve the safety, security, and performance of our Services.

Third-Party Services

We will delete your Personal Information when this information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it, unless we are required or permitted by law to retain this information for a longer period.

  • Information you have shared with others (e.g., Reviews) may continue to be publicly viewable on the Maker Services, however, attribution of such information to you will be removed.

• Complaints. You also have a right to make a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you reside, where we are based or where an alleged infringement of data protection law has taken place.

Third Party Websites and Services

The Maker Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (“Third Party Services”). The privacy practices of Third Party Services are not governed by this Privacy Policy and we encourage you to review all privacy policies of such Third Party Services prior to using the Third Party Services.

We do not own or exercise control over Third Party Services and we do not assume responsibility for the privacy practices of such Third Party Services. When you interact with Third Party Services, you may be providing information directly to the Third Party Services, Maker, or both.

Third Party Partners & Integrations

We may use third-party service providers (“Third Party Partners”) to help us provide services related to the Maker Services, such as, to: provide website hosting, maintenance, and security services; provide payments services; to provide the Maker Services through third party platforms; or offer certain functionality.

We may collect your personal information from these providers and these providers have limited access to your personal information to perform these tasks on our behalf in order to ensure the adequate performance of our contract with you. We require that these parties process such information in compliance with this Privacy Policy and we authorize them to use the information only for the purposes for which it is provided to them.

The privacy practices of Third Party Partners are not governed by this Privacy Policy. We do not own or exercise control over Third Party Partners and we do not assume responsibility for the privacy practices of Third Party Partners. We do not control the provision and processing of your information by Third Party Partners.

Children Privacy

The Maker Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age, then please do not access or use the Maker Services at any time or in any manner.

If we learn that personal information has been collected on or through the Maker Services from individuals under 18 years of age, then we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under 18 years of age has provided personal information, then you may contact us as set forth in the “Contact Us” section and request the erasure of your child’s personal information from our systems.

For residents of the EEA, where the processing of personal information is based on consent, Maker will not knowingly engage in that processing for users under the age of consent established by applicable data protection law. If we learn that we are engaged in that processing with such users, we will halt such processing and will take reasonable measures to promptly delete this information.
